O sinner, don’t depart!
The truth to meet your deepest need
Is in your mouth and heart.
“The truth shall set you free!”
O sinner, don’t be fooled!
The soul the Son has truly freed
By sin no more is ruled.
“The truth shall set you free!”
O sinner, don’t stop short!
The truth you see is incomplete,
Until you see the Lord.
Remain then in His word–
A true disciple be–
And feel the promise of the Lord:
“The truth shall set you free!”
