In 1995, God gave Bob Snyder the dream to found a Christian school. At the time, he served as a youth pastor, but he used to think to himself, “If only I could be their teacher, then I could spend more time with them.”
As his children grew up, Bob did research into the educational models of the past, and gained a lot of help from the Association of Classical and Christian Schools for his own family’s home school.
In 2007, God granted the opportunity to start a home school academy in a neighboring community. The school lasted four years and had two graduates. In 2012, Spring Branch Academy opened in Jonesville with nine students. Today the academy has over twenty students, with thirteen families involved.
