O God the Father, hear our cry,
Look down with pity from on high;
With all creation, cursed we sigh,
Till all Your sons are glorified.
O God the Son, attend our prayer,
Our guilt–a weight too great to bear;
Of all earth’s sons, You are most fair–
Your cross has shown how much You care.
Come, Holy Spirit, open eyes,
Let none Your word or work despise;
Renew our hearts, and make us wise
To reach that home beyond the skies.
O holy, righteous Trinity,
Oh, hear today our desp’rate plea:
We long to feast at Calvary;
Give us Your grace and set us free.
